The Colleton County School District Office of Transportation would like to invite you to meet your bus driver on September 25, 2025. The Office of Transportation is located at Colleton County Middle School. Guests will enter the building through the gym door. The attached schedule lists the meeting time, bus route number and driver. This will be a great opportunity for you to ask questions, establish communication and meet the wonderful staff who takes your students to and from school. Congratulations to this week's āTell Me Something Goodā drawing winnerMrs. Chelsea Edens from Thunderbolt Career and Technology Center.
Mrs. Edens shared "My ECE (Early Childhood Education) 1 students are currently interning in classrooms at Black Street Early Childhood Center and I received an email from Mrs. Pearson last week in which she was praising my wonderful group of students! This is the email she sent me, "Just wanted you to know that in all the classrooms I observed in today, your TCTC kiddos were actively engaged and working with BSECC students. Cole was even helping to assess their letter knowledge. Great job to you and all of your students!" I am beyond proud of the future teachers we are growing right here in Colleton County. "

The Colleton County High School Band of Blue Booster Club will host the 2025 Walterboro Band Classic at Cougar Stadium in Walterboro, SC, on September 27, 2025. This will be our 48th year hosting the classic. Judges this year are Martin Dickey, David O'Shields, Ken Turner, Nikki Crawford, Randy Grantham and Jason Johnson.

On September 16, 2025, Colleton County School District had the great honor of recognizing the Office of Transportation for their hard work and dedication to the safety of transporting our students to and from school. Our transportation department is a vital part of our school district, and we thank the team for all they do.
We also had the pleasure of recognizing our students for the month of September. The Colleton County Middle School Robotics Team and the Northside Elementary Safety Patrol greeted our guests and read the mission statement for the Regular Board meeting. We congratulate and thank each of the staff and students for a job well done.

The staff at Colleton County School District has been very busy for the start of the new year. The Communications Team has started an internal āTell Me Something Goodā campaign to boost team morale and keep the positive energy moving. Each week employees will submit something positive by 5pm on Friday. A random winner will be chosen each Monday and presented with a small token to say thank you for promoting positivity within our district.
This week our āTell Me Something Goodā winner was Mrs. Lisa Stephens from Colleton County High School. Mrs. Stephens shared the following quote, āLet your smile be the reason someone smiles today.ā Congratulations and keep up the great work!
